Young Enterprise Scotland

Young Enterprise Scotland operates with the help and support of over 600 volunteers across Scotland.  A network of 17 Local Area Boards (regions), made up entirely of volunteers, assists with the promotion and delivery of the Company Programme.  Our volunteers are involved with a number of events, locally and nationally.

Our volunteers come from many different backgrounds and from all over Scotland.  The greatest asset that they all share is that they are all passionate about working with young people.

As a volunteer Business Adviser to one of our young companies, you will visit the school to attend their meetings (usually for a maximum of 1 hour per week), meet with the company’s Link Teacher and the company Managing Director and be involved in training sessions (usually 2-3 per year) plus the Local Area Board Finals which are conducted in the evening.

As a volunteer Board Member you could be involved in everything from organising events, to masterclasses, to fundraising!
