The Dunbartonshire Area Board manages the activities of Young Enterprise across East and West Dunbartonshire, plus Helensburgh and Lomond.  Our main programme is the school Company Programme designed to provide 15-18-year-old young people with the experience of setting up and running their own company.  Companies are formed in the school and supervised by a Link Teacher with advice and support from a volunteer Business Advsier.

The Area Board supports this Programme by helping Link Teachers, identifying Business Advisers and by running a series of coaching and other events to help young people succeed.  The members of the Area Board are listed on this website (click the Dunbartonshire Area Board link to the left) and any one may be contacted for further information.

We could not offer this programme without the support of many organisations in the area who offer the time of their staff, the use of their facilities and financial support.  Our thanks are due to them all.

Whether you are a young person involved, or seeking to be involved, in a Young Enterprise programme in Dunbartonshire, a Link Teacher, a Business Adviser or a supporting organisation, I hope you find your experience with Young Enterprise in Dunbartonshire a satisying, rewarding and enjoyable experience.

Jack Rudram, Chairman, Area Board, Dunbartonshire
