Destination Imagination
(DI) is an exhilarating
activity in which students work in teams to solve mind-bending Challenges and
present their solutions at Tournaments. Teams are tested to think on their
feet, work together and devise original solutions that satisfy the requirements
of the Challenges. Participants gain more than just basic knowledge and
skills—they learn to unleash their imaginations and take unique approaches to
problem solving.
Young Enterprise Scotland offers this volunteer led programme in Scotland as part of the worldwide DI programme, which reaches more than 100,000 young people across 30 countries.
For these two programmes YES works with partner agencies to utilise their different fields of expertise. This equips the young people with the necessary skills to tackle real life situations such as job searching, further education and training, and finding out about independent living benefits.
