A warm welcome to all visitors to this site... students from our local schools, business advisers to our schools, link teachers, board members and other interested stakeholders. We are delighted this year to have a number of our local schools involved: Belmont Academy, Greenwood Academy, James Hamilton Academy, Loudoun Academy, Queen Margaret Academy, St Matthew's Academy, Largs Academy and Wellington School. The aim of this website is to promote Young Enterprise and to keep you up to date with information about our programmes and events in Ayrshire. We have just held an incredibly successful Cafe Conversations event very kindly supported by Citi Foundation. The young entrepreneurial speakers Lesley Thom, one of the first graduates from Sir Tom Hunter's Leadership Programme and Lisa Tobias from Domino's Pizza wowed over 120 guests at the Park Hotel in Kilmarnock. More news and photos from the event will be coming soon to the news pages... We are also busy planning our Training Event for all students which will be held on Wednesday 21st January in the Greenwood Teacher Centre. More information on this event will be available after the Christmas holidays. Last, but by no means least, a massive thank you to everyone for all their help and support in 2008 and we look forward to a busy 2009! Without the help of our Board Members, Business Advsiers from local companies and the time invested by Link Teachers, YES Company Programme here in the Ayrshire area simply could not succeed. Many thanks Brian Hill Chair - Ayrshire Local Area Board
